Napa Valley Wine and Cigar

What do you want in a wine? Does it have to have a big rating based on somebody else's opinion? There are a great many outstanding wines between "2 Buck Chuck" and "Screaming Eagle." The question is, what do YOU like? We scramble to purchase the well known wines people clamor for, often with our allocation limited to one bottle. On the other hand, being located in Napa Valley, we get the opportunity to try and purchase many wines that are "Under the Radar" of the great raters. Had you really heard of "Paloma" before Wine Spectator named their Merlot number 1 in 2004? Well, they've been around for quite a while producing excellent wines. Most of the up and comers are small producers and some have jumped in with both feet.
